A Journey into Your Television

This is post is an update on my research on my wonder. Hope you like it! =)

How are you digging underneath the surface of your chosen issue, problem, challenge, question, or interest?

I have been doing some more research on my topic. Many of the questions that I have been asking all have to do with how advertisements can cause you to believe false things. As a result of my research I have found some graphs and many stats and numbers.

How are you digging underneath the answers and information, to discover more?

Well one thing that my research has caused me to wonder is where they get all of their numbers. My answers have all been varying so, I am going to try to find out which sites are the most accurate.

How are you inviting others into your learning journey? Who are your contributors, collaborators, editors, reflectors, challengers…who help to strengthen your work?

One way that I have been inviting others to post their own thoughts and join my learning experience is by telling as many people that I can about it. I have also tried to make my posts easy to understand, so hopefully no one will have trouble with that.

Thank you so much for reading my posts. It really means a lot to me and I encourage you to post your thoughts, questions, and comments in the bar below. I would also like to thank the group of people that have a posted comments and helped push my learning. Sorry for not posting for so long.  I promise to start posting more often. THANKS FOR READING!

  • What efforts have you made to address your Wonder this week?
This week I actually ended up completely changing my wonder to “HOW DOES THE TELEVISION WE WATCH AFFECT US?” I started doing some research about how TV can affect your sleeping habits.
  • What achievements have you made?
I have successfully chosen a new wonder and I have also started getting some research done.
  • How would you score yourself for each?
I think that I would give myself a “4” because I actually got a lot done. I have already started to understand my wonder.
  • Reflecting on our discussion in class, what “tweaks” might make this rubric work better for you?
I pretty much liked the rubric but I did think that we should add a #5. On column 5 I think that it should include things like student went above expectations. I also thought that the whole rubric should be graded on how hard you worked not how many answers you got because it can often be unfair.

Hello world!
