Why do ellipse and eclips sound alike? Do they have something to do with each other?

I have found out that they have nothing to do with each other

Today’s question

Please copy & paste Today’s Question into your Learning
1. Up to now what have you learned about your wonder? How did you find this information? What did you do? There are not towns or castles/towns, etc.  Also there are no other structures built like it.  There are no recordings of anyone building it.  Also there are no people that we know of that would or could build it.  This is one of the many mysteries that surround Stone Hedge. I read all the info on the inter net.

2. What do you still want to know about your wonder? What is your plan for finding this information? What have you already done to try and find this information? Did it work? Why or why not? I want to find out who really built it and why. I have tried but no one knows there is no prof for there thires.

3. What new questions/wonders do you have? Are they related to your current wonder? What could you do to look into them?
How many others stone structurs are there? I looked at a map of stone struturs

Todays question

How are you digging underneath the surface of your chosen issue, problem, challenge, question, or interest? I am working
What questions are you asking? How they built Stonehenge
What information are you finding? Who built it
How are you digging underneath the answers and information, to discover more? Never considering one as right
What are your strategies for deeper discovery?asking questions
How are you inviting others into your learning journey? Who are your contributors, collaborators, editors, reflectors, challengers…who help to strengthen your work? I do not know

Please comment to my work

Goal rubric

What efforts have you made to address your Wonder this week?
What achievements have you made?

I have found out that the rock that Stonehenge matches the stone found six miles away in the ocean.

How would you score yourself for each? I would give myself a three.

Reflecting on our discussion in class, what “tweaks” might make this rubric work better for you?

I think there should be a row between three and four.

my wonders

There are lots of things I wonder and these are some of them.

  1. Ancient civilizations.
  2. Why the moon controls the tide ?
  3. Is there life in space?
  4. How rocks are made

These are most of my wonders if you have answers post a comment.
